Timekeepers

The Timekeepers are a secret society of sages dedicated to measuring time. Rather than worship the Gods or Primordials, they look to time as a sacred force. Yuga serves as a patron deity for the organization, and some of the high-ranked members are transported by Yuga to the next Renewals. The organization is the oldest in Mythryn, spanning thousands of years across several renewals. Their calendar has been adopted by the world at large. The TC after the year number stands for ‘Timekeeper Calendar.’

There is no better sage to ask about the Great Game than a Timekeeper; that being said, finding a Timekeeper is no easy task, as they operate in complete secret. Some timekeepers have been alive for several centuries or even rumored to be millennia. In worshiping time, it seems the Timekeepers have received a boon: a slowing aging process.

Although the Timekeepers operate secretly, there is one who is openly known, but appears only at the threshold of new Time Periods. Alacrity, an elderly human unclaimed by death, speaks only at the dawn of a new age, prophesizing and naming the age to come. He used to act as an observer and silent advisor to the crown of Nimbury, but as the rule of High Nimbury has fallen into ruins, he has disappeared. He only appears in times of great need.
